description:

In this class we will move through a series of gentle movements and postures, enjoying moments of release, regulation, and rest. Light conversation, writing, and breath work will be introduced when needed. This class is for those interested in developing a practice of bodily restoration and introspection. We will collectively rest and restore, falling into deep relaxations and attuning to the subtleties of sense perception.

*When possible please bring with you an exercise mat and blanket.

*3G rule (vaccinated, recovered, tested)

About the instructor:

In 2017 I completed my undergraduate in Dance and Choreography at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Through the expertise of my professors, who were practitioners of Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais, and Laban MA, my technical and artistic studies were heavily informed by somatics. This has left a lasting impression and grounds the basis of my artistic and movement-based practices. I desire to share the tools I have learned as a way to provide a means for individuals to develop their own restorative and regulating practices so we can show up as more compassionate and embodied members of the social.
